ButcherBox: The Subscription I Didn't Know I Needed
I love a good subscription box! Easy, convenient, and checks a box off my to-do list. I had heard about ButcherBox but was super skeptical about the quality and value.

Then I gave ButcherBox a try.

Spoiler alert: my freezer is now full of meat and my meals are healthy & delicious! The whole family gives ButcherBox two thumbs up!

They offer grass-fed beef, organic free-range chicken, heritage-breed pork, and wild-caught seafood, all in a convenient package. It felt like signing up for a VIP meat club!

In my first box, I got:

  • Ribeye Steaks
  • St. Louis Pork Spareribs
  • Ground Beef
  • Chicken Tenders
  • Sirloin Tips

^^ The beef is grass-fed and grass-finished. The pork is crate-free. The chicken is free-range organic. And it's all antibiotic and hormone free. No gimmicks, no shady sourcing—just genuinely great cuts.

This is an unsponsored review but I am an affiliate for ButcherBox.  They did not pay me to do this review but if you use one of my links to sign up, I receive a small kickback.  I only endorse products I use in my own home and love for our family.

When the box arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything was packaged! The meat was still frozen solid thanks to the ice packs and insulation, so no worries about it sitting on my porch a bit too long. Everything was neatly organized, labeled, and ready to be stored in my freezer. Unboxing it honestly felt like opening a gift I’d sent myself.

The Meats

  • My husband smoked the ribs. They were fall-off-the-bone and finger-lickin' good!
  • He grilled the ground beef for hamburgers. My kids said it was the best burger they've ever had!
  • He also grilled the steaks. Amazing!
  • He cooked the beef tips in a gravy sauce over rice. These beef tips will be a staple in my ButcherBox every month!
  • I cooked the chicken tenders in butter in my cast iron skillet until they were nice & crispy. My kids were big fans!

Is It Worth It?

For my family, absolutely! If you care about quality, taste, and convenience, ButcherBox is well worth the investment. While it might seem pricey at first glance, when you break it down by meal and compare it to what you'd spend on high-quality cuts at the grocery store, it’s very reasonable and comparable.

Final Thoughts:

ButcherBox has made my life easier and tastier. If you're ready to level up your meat game, ButcherBox is full of quality and convenience. Click here to see their latest promo and get your first box!
