Let's DIY together! Making natural, holistic, & happy living super simple & fun! The Crunchy Moose is loaded with DIY beauty recipes, the no poo method, and home remedies.
Wanna make soap but it sounds complicated? Melt & pour soap without lye is for you. Learn how to make melt and pour soap with recipes like morning start, mint chocolate, & sweet dreams. This is the easiest way to make homemade soap without lye or curing.
When I first started ditching & switching our home to upgraded products with clean ingredients, not everyone in the house was 100% on board (ahem....my sweet husband ;-) ). Upgrading our soap was an easy way for me to switch out our products & ingredients with no complaints! He actually loves my homemade soaps.
Over the past decade, I've gone through a handful of waffle makers. The waffles get stuck, they are a hassle to clean, burnt pieces never come off, they cook unevenly, they can't handle the multiple batches I make at a time (I make lots at a time & freeze them), and they just aren't built to last.
But not this one! This GreenPan Grill, Griddle, and Waffle Maker is seriously the best!
** Made with a healthy ceramic nonstick coating that’s free from PFAS, PFOA, lead, and cadmium ** No stick - the waffles just pop right out when they are done! ** Cleans easily without having to scrub heavily in the little waffle crevices (plus the plates are dishwasher safe!) ** Cooks evenly ** Scratch resistant so it still looks brand new after making hundreds of waffles ** Space saver because it replaced my griddle, indoor grill, and inferior waffle maker! It's all-in-one perfection!

It started with a quick google search: "best safe, nontoxic cookware." I ended up in a spiral of a rabbit hole. You have to get stainless steel like the pros .... wait no .... if you don't use cast iron, are you really cooking? .... wait no, ceramic is the only material that truly doesn't stick .... wait no, guess the safest option is to cook over an open flame like a caveman.
The struggle is real. After a lot of research (and my husband begging me to please make a decision because our 18 year old pot & pans from our wedding were falling apart), I decided on Caraway's Enameled Cast Iron Set.
After a month of cooking everything in these pots and pans, I am so happy with this gorgeous set!
My kitchen is now giving professional chef vibes thanks to a GreenPan upgrade!

My 9 year old daughter loves smoothies. But she's hip to my ways of sneaking in bonus healthy add-ins. While her smoothies aren't unhealthy, I was always trying to figure out ways to add extra greens, proteins, and other nutrients without her noticing.
Then I found SmoothieBox! They are the easy button I've been missing! Organic, loaded with extra nutrient dense ingredients, and super easy to make!
I can even make quick and easy popsicles with SmoothieBox! Healthy popsicles my kids love.
Many DIY cough drops and throat lozenges recipes are overly complicated—I'm not keen on using a candy thermometer just to ease a sore throat. And when searching for no-cook alternatives, I found that most relied on a coconut oil base and required refrigeration. I personally don't think that carrying a ball of coconut oil in my purse is a good idea...
So I decided to create a no-cook, purse-friendly throat soother that truly works! Fully loaded with vitamin C, honey, ginger, and essential oils.
Pure vanilla extract at my grocery store starts at about $4 per ounce and can be as much as $15 per ounce. I just made homemade vanilla extract for under $1 per ounce!
Not only is homemade vanilla extract a huge money saver, it's super easy, flavorful, and customizable. And when you go straight from the bean to the bottle, you can control all the ingredients and extraction process.
Homemade vanilla also makes a great gift! Be sure to grab the free printable label at the bottom of the post to make your bottle super cute.
