No beach?? No problem! Make this beach waves hairspray in minutes to get that beachy, tousled, mermaid look.
This is my absolute favorite summer hairstyle because it’s low-effort, looks amazing, and works with clean or second-day hair (or 3rd...or 4th day... wanna learn how to extend days between washing? Here are my tips!).

This spray gives your hair:
- texture

- moisturizing aloe
DIY Beach Waves Hairspray Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Argan oil
- learn more about the benefits of argan oil here
- you can substitute with your favorite hair friendly liquid oil like fractionated coconut oil or jojoba oil
- 2 tablespoons aloe (fresh or purchased)
- learn how to make fresh aloe vera gel here
- 15 drops of hair-friendly essential oils
- I'm using Rosemary, Purification, and Lavender Essential Oils

- 1 cup of warm water
- continuous spray bottle

DIY Beach Waves Hairspray Instructions
- Add sea salt, Argan oil, aloe, and essential oils to your continuous spray bottle
- Fill the bottle with warm water (don't fill all the way, leave about an inch of air at the top of the bottle)
- Put the top on the bottle
- Shake well, the warm water will dissolve the sea salt

How to Use DIY Beach Waves Hairspray
- Spray on damp hair
- Scrunch your hair
- Let your hair air dry
Notes
- This spray has a shelf life of about 1 month
- You can extend the shelf life by storing in the fridge or adding a preservative like alcohol, witch hazel, or leucidal liquid
