I read a lot of blog posts. And I try a lot of blog recipes. And I test out a lot of the DIY beauty tips I find. So I’m starting a new series to share with you the best of the best of the best from the blog world! These are all recipes & tips that I have personally tried and that my family & I loved. These are the recipes that end up in my personal recipe box and the beauty tips that I add to my daily routines.
I made a batch 2 days ago. They are GONE. I took them to my mother-in-law’s house and my 10 year old niece was there. She took one bite and said, “You MADE these? These are delicious!” I did not have tapioca flour so I used regular old all purpose flour (sorry Kula Mama!). I will track down some tapioca before I make them again (which will be this weekend). I added a handful of ground flaxseeds to the batter.
UPDATE: I got some tapioca flour and made them again. Wowzer! Definitely worth tracking down the tapioca flour when you make these. I still added flax seed. These are AMAZING! My 21 month old son loves them. Here’s my crackers:
This recipe has had quite the buzz in my blogging community. Several of my bloggy friends highly recommended it. So I gave it a go. It definitely deserved the buzz! I did not have cauliflower (meaning I completely skipped that line of the recipe and didn’t add it to my shopping list). But I did have some patty pan squash from my CSA. I grated those in my processor and was pleasantly surprised that it worked! My 21 month old son ate this and loved it! It is loaded with veggies, so that made this momma happy. My husband was out of town when I made it. He had some leftovers 2 days later and asked when I’m making it again.
I’ve been using this mouthwash for a few months. I LOVE it. My husband does not use my homemade toothpaste, but he LOVES this mouthwash.
That’s the latest & greatest I have found around the web lately. I will be sharing my favorite blog posts about every month or so to let you know what recipes, tips, & tricks rocked my world.
