Wow, these gummy candies look great! And so many different recipes too. 🙂 If you can tell I’ve been reading all of your gelatin posts 🙂 and I was wondering, on “the health benefits of gelatin” you said that you’d recommend taking gelatin every day. I bought 2 of the large red bottles of Great lakes gelatin, and thought I could use it interchangeably for making gummies and for a daily supplement, but it’s not very fun to take gelatin this way so I stopped taking it. (I would put in in lemon water, cranberry juice, or just plain water in the morning but it got so bubbly and I could feel the “gummy” pieces of gelatin as I drank 🙁 ) I could buy the green bottle too, I guess, but it’s so expensive and I already have so much of the other kind. So, I guess my question is, do you think it would be beneficial if I took my daily gelatin by eating gummies every day? Maybe that wouldn’t be enough for my daily amount? Or is there a better way to consume my “red bottle gelatin” that I’m just not thinking of? Thanks as always for your awesome blog!

Absolutely! You can definitely eat your gelatin everyday in gummies. You can also make jello or pudding. Here are some chocolate gelatin squares: http://befoodsavvy.com/2014/03/chocolate-gelatin-squares/

Success! I made these last night and they are great. How long will they last if I keep them in the refrigerator? Thank you!

These would also be great for backpacking or camping. Or even as a survival snack. Win Win in my book. Thank you for these recipes!
